TCE Pumpkin Contest

On October 22, 2010 our class won 3rd place in the TCE Pumpkin Contest! Every year each classroom participates in decorating a pumpkin to represent a character in their favorite book. This year we chose Is This A House for Hermit Crab? by Megan Mcdonald. Each child had the opportunity to help design our pumpkin to look like a hermit crab. They had fun and I think you'll agree that they did a Fin-tastic Job!

    Awesome job on the pumpkin! I know it was my favorite; it was just like the book!

    Thanks! We really enjoyed making it together and it still sits in our room; they don't want to through it away.
